Pre-Kindergarten Preschool at FBC

We currently have 3 preschool classrooms for your little ones. Our preschool kids (ages 3-5) spend their days in a world of learning an fun, with activities scheduled throughout the day to help them to prepare both for the learning challenges of Kindergarten and also the schedule of going to school when they are ready. Their day begins with free play and breakfast (for the early ones), followed by their daily lesson, focusing on a specific letter, number, shape, or color for the day. After awhile, it is time for Circle time, a group time together where teachers read stories, sing songs, play games, and other whole class interactions. Mid-morning snack fuels the kids up for their next adventures of art and fitness (Mondays and Wednesdays) or Science and music (Tuesdays and Thursdays), with Spanish and Art on Fridays. If that' not enough, writing time is also packed in 2 days a week and Fit N Fun twice a week to help burn off that never-ending energy!

Sound like a lot for your little tot? Each activity is geared to your child's age and learning ability. We utilize the acclaimed "Writing without Tears" curriculum to help young writers and readers take those first steps into literacy and enter kindergarten with a solid foundation on with to base their learning. Our preschool classes still offer ample recess time, lunch and snacks throughout the day, and even nap time after lunch (for those who will still nap). And remember, our preschool center is open from 6am to 6:30pm for parents convenience in pickup and drop-off.
